Model providers
Providers supply the models that agents use. Configure them in Settings → Models.
Subscription providers
Section titled “Subscription providers”Subscription providers such as Codex and Cursor use their own account connection flow. After connecting, refresh the status if the composer does not update immediately.
API-key providers
Section titled “API-key providers”For providers such as OpenRouter, paste the provider key and save it. Credentials remain under your control and are not written into task repositories.
OpenAI-compatible APIs
Section titled “OpenAI-compatible APIs”Use a custom OpenAI-compatible provider when a service exposes the OpenAI chat or responses protocol but is not listed separately. Enter:
- a recognizable provider name;
- the API base URL supplied by the provider;
- an API key, if the endpoint requires one;
- the model identifier exactly as the endpoint expects it.
After saving, confirm that the provider is marked Shown in task composer. A compatible protocol does not guarantee that every provider supports every tool or model capability; use the provider’s documented model identifier and endpoint.
Where credentials apply
Section titled “Where credentials apply”Local execution uses credentials available on the executing machine. Cloud execution requires a credential that Tellnova can use in the cloud. The model selector shows the effective provider/model catalog for the selected runtime.
